It seems such a long time since I here in fact I think it was March when I last made a proper post, not that much has happened in the intervening time just really kind of lost my appetite for blogging, though I have spent the last 2 hours or more trying to catch up I have read most and left some comments on some and glad to see that generally all is well in our blogging world.
Lets see well Spring and Summer have sped by and now were marching into October makes me wonder just where the time goes. I had an ok summer this year for a change as it's usually when my depression seems to kick in but this year was a lot more hopeful and I've felt a lot happier within myself than I have done in the last 4-5 years so at least that is progress. I 'm still doing my teaching course having taken some more advanced courses and enjoying it it's a pity I didn't enjoy school when there unless the subject was of particular interest to me but I find now that I enjoy learning and have an aptitude for studying which keeps the little grey cells alive and kicking and can't wait until I'm finished as I'm now ready for something different it's been a long time coming but it's time.
What else oh as some of you may remember I've had back trouble for sometime and visit back and forth to my GP did nothing to really help the pain and my lack of mobility so eventually looking at other methods I found out about TENS Machines I duly bought one and haven't looked back since my little miracle I call it the other beneficial effect was that I could go out for walks again which was hard at first as my legs didn't seem to want to work but getting stronger and even losing some of the weight gained by my inactivity \0/.
I'm sitting here at 2.04am watching Jeremy Kyle a UK talk show host and watching his usual mauling of some uneducated individual who thinks that by coming on TV to publicly wash their dirty laundry i will solve their problems, I've been thinking about this a lot recently why is there the need to talk about everything under the sun we all seem to get wrapped up in the various issues covered but rarely the symptoms they attack the person but not the issue all for ratings and those people realising to late they've allowed themselves to be pilloried on TV but are not articulate enough to stave off the attack with any kind of reasonable explanation therefore being even more resentful which they then unleash on others.
Our politicians are also under the microscope again it seems that our Premier has mental health problems not that this has been proved but it's out there I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was depressed the mess the country is in he was so fired up to oust Tony Blair and take the hot seat himself that all has blown up in his face spectacularly what with the MP's expenses row unemployment and the fact that the country is broke and according to them it's not going to fixed anytime soon however next year is Election year and to be truthful I don't think the conservatives are going to fare much better what we need is "Change" radical and drastic but in the UK we don't seem to quite ready for that yet.
Much the same as the US I see the President coming under attack from all quarters but again it's not about policies it's about his skin colour it appears that he has to fight a double battle to try and resurrect the the issues of unemployment /health /education/housing/crime and his skin colour which is so grossly unfair he's been charged with a job let him do it and it also takes more than 4 years in office to effect change that could benefit all or at least level the playing field. We have the same issues here with employment/health etc but none of our three main parties seem able to come up with a solution.
anyway that's enough from me for now
Take care all
